As I thought that permissions may be the issue, I have changed the group the users is in to be the same as the other users. Qsync may also show that the home folder is disabled. There is one thing that I have noticed that may be causing all the issues, and that is that the "Group" set for the users is different from all the rest. I have also logged on via an FTP client to the QNAP device, so I can look at the Linux file permissions. I have double checked the permissions of for the user via the QNAP GUI, and the permissions are correct for the user. Other is fine, and I can look at the permissions without any issue. I have noticed that the security when looking at the for the user via Windows is not showing, as if the permission is not set to be able to look at it. Youll need to open up your QNAP NAS administration page, which will be whatever local IP youve got it set to, and its specific. Syncing the whole drive I:\ is not possible.

I have on my PC in drive I: folders: I:\documents, I:\pictures, I:\videos and I want to sync all of them. There is a '+' button to add more but I can not select anotner folder. a shared folder have access to their synced files on their devices as well. In Qsync is a option to 'Select folders to sync'. We have the QNAP set so that we can set security via the shares themselves, via our Active Directory domain (so can look at security permissions via Windows machines).
